Spicy, sour and sweet

I really enjoyed Rude Mama Passionfruit Hot Sauce. It's the right balance of heat, sour and sweet. The sour comes from passion fruit and tomatoes and a slight sweetness from the fruit. It's very versatile. I would use it as a dipping sauce, add to wraps and sandwich, cook with stir-fry. It works with both Western and Asian dishes!

Sweet Heat That Feels Like Home

Okay this one? It did not come to play.
As someone from the Caribbean, I take my hot sauce very seriously and this Passion Fruit Rude Mama? Yeah… she speaks directly to my soul. That sweet, tangy tropical flavour mixed with the heat instantly took me back home.

The balance is honestly what got me. She’s spicy, don’t get it twisted, but it’s not overpowering. You still get to fully enjoy the passion fruit, the layers of flavour, all the little notes doing their thing. It’s giving heat and taste, which is exactly what a good hot sauce should do.

Once I tried it, it was a wrap. I’ve been putting it on everything!
If you love a hot sauce that brings flavour first and still delivers that kick, this one is it. Sweet, spicy, tropical goodness in a bottle.

Bring on the heat

Passion fruit wasn’t for me but I’m sure I’d like other flavours cause their heat level was perfect for my daily avocado-cottage cheese- egg combo.
I also loved the consistency nice and thick!

One of the tastiest hot sauces I’ve ever had!

This was seriously unlike any hot sauce I’ve had before!
When they say ruthless on your taste buds, they mean it - but the passionfruit gives this the perfect balance! It really tastes great on everything

Emergency rootbeer chugging required!

Wow! @rudemamahotsauce showed up and delivered at dinner last night.
I’ve been waiting for an excuse to try this passionfruit hot sauce, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. I wasn’t sure if the Thai chili flavor would go with my tacos, but honestly I think you could put this stuff on just about anything.
The first bite is all flavor, then the heat rolls in nice and evenly. And unlike a lot of hot sauces, this one is actually nice and thick, which makes it perfect for dipping too.
Naturally, I dared my kiddo to try it.
He accepted the challenge like a brave little warrior.
Immediate regret.
Followed by aggressive root beer chugging.
BUT… even through the spice panic he admitted it actually tasted really good. So honestly that’s a win.
Looking forward to trying this on more dishes.
Chicken might be next.
